Rimrose Vets is an independent practice run by people who grew up in this community.
Rimrose Vets is an independent veterinary practice on Bridge Road in Litherland, owned and led by Jonathon, the vet who cares for you and your pets, alongside his partner, Elin.
We are not and will not be part of a large corporate group or veterinary chain. Every decision about your pet's care is made, in consultation with you, here in the practice by the team who look after them every day.
We opened Rimrose Vets in June 2025 to bring independent, personal veterinary care back to the community in which we grew up. We named the practice after Rimrose Valley, the area destined to become a highway until community action saw it saved and transformed into a haven for an ever-increasing diversity of wildlife in the south of Sefton.
